Clifford Chimaizuobi Igbo is a Nigerian filmmaker and screenwriter with a growing footprint in African cinema. He co-founded of Julob Entertainment, a creative production company he runs alongside his twin brother, Stanford, and friend, Izu Okafor.
Together, they’ve brought to life a number of compelling stories—including DINOBI, KAMSI’S DIARY, KACHI’S ODYSSEY and PERFECT DISTRACTION—that explore themes of identity, youth, trauma, and love through a distinctly African lens.
His co-written film, CHIUGO, was recently selected for the Race to Justice Film Festival, a recognition that highlights his evolving voice in the continent’s cinematic landscape and DINOBI was screened at the Zuma Film Festival in Abuja.
Whether behind the camera or at the writing desk, Clifford is driven by a deep passion for human-centered storytelling that resonates emotionally and culturally.
